We were in the area and wanted to stay in a hotel with Sky(satallite) tv so we could watch a live rugby game that night.. Their website stated they had Sky tv so we booked in. What a wonderful find Gulf Harbour Lodge was.. The Manager and her husband were charming. The lodge it's self was elegant, quiet, comfortable and just a bit off the beaten path, which we loved! We very much enjoyed our stay and will keep it mind for our next visit to the beautiful country of New Zealand.. more
This hotel on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula some way north of Auckland makes an excellent overnight stop. Clean modern spacious rooms, helpful staff. No meals provided but there are two excellent cafe/restaurants in the complex which can provide breakfast through to dinner. more
