Although the rooms have been modernised this hotel still exudes the charm of yesteryear.
Our apartment was quite large and well presented. i would recommend you book the executive suite as some of the cheaper rooms are on the wrong side of the building, they have no view and the smell from the nearby food court wafts up from the...

We stayed at this hotel during the world cup and the prices had been doubled so value for money was not good at this time. Lovely big apartments with lots of character although a bit shabby. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable bed. The apartments felt cosy and comfortable. On the down side, the safe failed to work and I got...

Stayed for two nights, Saturday and Sunday.
No problems with check-in, staff were polite and friendly.
The old style of the building was nice, interesting art on the hall walls.
T.V was a little old and hard to know which channel was which.
Kitchen and laundry facilities were impressive, even though we did not cook or clean. They would definitely...

Found it online and contacted staff by email for help with arrival. They were fabulous from beginning to end. Booked 2 2 bedrooms - ensuite - a good deal - bedrooms are small but quiet and comfortable. Great location near restaurants and center of town. Nice to be able to do laundry as well and we had a nice late...

Stayed several times at this property (my hotel of choice when in Auckland) and it was all great. Location, location, location - this really works for this property. What more can you ask for as they are within walking distance of everything in the CBD and is conveniently located near bus stops that link you to the rest of Auckland....

Very hot and no air-conditioning and if you open the windows the noise from the street is unbearable. Housekeeping poor - leftover toast crumbs and food scraps all down the side of the stove.
Lifts don't go to the foyer and checkout.
No facilities such as bar, pool or gym.

We stayed here just for one night on our last night in NZ before the trip to the airport. The location is great for the CBD just minutes from Queen street. We have stayed in quite a few apartment style hotel's in the same price bracket during our trip and this was one of the worst.
We didn't realise that...
