My husband and I stayed here with our three year old and found the motel clean, comfortable and quite spacious. We had a separate bedroom with two single beds for our toddler ( and an extra television in this room) and the main room had the queen size bed. The photo on the web site is probably the nicest photo of the entire complex. Rooms were average. It is rated 4 1/2 stars but we would rate it 3. Motel is located about 10 minute drive out of Napier in the middle of suburbia, can't walk into Napier as it is too far. Owners are very friendly and easy... more

While Deco City Motor Lodge may not be an art-lover's dream, the motel is clean, spacious, well-equipped and reasonably close to "downtown" Napier. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Compared to some Best Western motels, this was a delight. more

This is a great place to stay. My husband and I stayed here 2 nights in a room with a spa bath. The spa is huge as is the bathroom. The bed was huge much bigger than my king size bed. It felt like i had the bed to myself. The room was quite, clean and made up each day.... more
