Enroute from Castlepoint to Rotorua we spent only one night here. My sister & her husband had room 3 with deck overlooking neighborhood roofs. My single room overlooked ally and an open window at night let in considerable traffic noise and the occasional bellow from seals in the aquarium across the street. Such a great B&B - friendly hosts. Nice and comfortable bedroom. And the breakfast was amazing. The decor is very traditional - but that fits in with the city. I recommend it for people who like to travel in style. There are some steep stairs so beware of that - all rooms are upstairs.
