The only downside to the hotel is that it is not by the beach and that you do not have the water view.

We stayed here during the New Year break and were happy enough with the place.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The rooms are all wireless equipped and the speed is pretty quick, although New Zealand is one of the few places left in the world who charge ridiculous amounts for wireless access.
