Poor furnishings; dodgy electrics; dripping taps; unadjustable shower; a rude and arrogant owner that refused on checkout to honour the Golden Chain 10% discount scheme and they add NZ$5 if you want to pay by Credit Card. There must be better motels in Rotorua. more

Rude management. Owner and family on LOUD motorbike for hours on end right next to units. Unavailable at reception even during reception hours - had to visit 5 times to pay bill as not even answering phone. Endless "do not/must not" signs in room not at all welcoming. Firendly motel, 15 minutes walk from the centre of Rotorua. Excellent facilities - heated outdoor pool and spa baths. Good value for money - clean and comfortable. more

All right hotel but very very rude management when queried about additional charges that turned up on the credit card after the stay. They automatically charged the credit card for extra cleaning just because a couple of dishes hadn't been done. Would never go there again. more

What a shame that some people in the service industry don't really understand that they are there to make guests welcome, and this colours the visit rather more than the premises! Our reception could best be described as lukewarm to cool. The (male) proprietor seemed distant and disinterested - most unusual for a town that relies almost 100% on tourism.... more
