Fantastic location. A 2 minute walk from Lake Okareka which has stunning views. Very quiet here too as out of the hustle and bustle of Rotorua! Lyons Lakestay is just outside Rotorua on the North Island. It was clean, comfortable and only 15 mins from the town centre. It was perfect for us as we did not want to stay in town. the views from the accomodationwere beautiful and it certainly didnt feel like we were so close to a city. it is a perfect base... more
Having just returned from a three week holiday in New Zealand staying in a variety of different hostels and B&Bs, Lyons Lakestay was one of the best places we stayed. Lyons Lakestay is one of the most peaceful locations you will ever find. It has a fantastic garden and great views of the lake with good clean accommodation and facilities.
