Modern accommodation in new plymouth, but the design is a bit claustrophobic, windows do not open etc Hosts are quite friendly, if you are looking for top class stuff, best to look elsewhere, but if you are looking for comfortable and clean and new, then this is it more
We stayed for 2 nights at the Quest. We had trouble locating the car park, but the front desk staff were helpful. It is extremely central, with a shopping mall just over the road, and the beautiful 7km coastal walkway very close. The studio room was rather small, but was well equipped. A modern new apartment hotel centrally located in the CBD, walking distance to the fabulous Taranaki museum, the renown Govett Browser Art Gallery, world famous Pukekura Park and the coast walking/biking trail. A nice surprise. Only stayed for one night but it was lovely. Small but well located (it's the old post office building) just off the main street in New Plymouth. Room was new, clean and plenty of space. Separate bedroom and then a lounge/kitchen area. Well done. more
