Its a hostel in the university campus converted to a Apartments and is a budget accommodation. The rooms and toilets are very small but very clean. The owner is friendly and helpful. The apartments are very near to city and require just 5 -10 minutes walk. They have a huge fully loaded common kitchen which was very clean too. The place had a problem with phoneline thus i couldn't get free internet promised at the time of booking. The Eftpos machine was not working thus i had to go to the town to withraw money at the time of checkout! It was very peacful as i went at the time of uni holidays, but i believe it can become very noisey when the students are there! I didn't expect much for the price i paid (Probably NZ $65) and thus very happy with the place. You can also get better long stay weekly rates too. Will stay again. more
