Stayed in a 1st floor room overlooking Lake Taupo with good views. Very clean room, although the decor was a bit dated and reflects another era of travel. An average hot breakfast was included. Room price was a bit high for what was offerred, especially compared to other accommodation stayed at during a 18 day self tour of New Zealand.... more

This hotel was so bad that we only stayed there one night instead of the two we had booked. The first room they put us in had a tiny loveseat, dining room set, and tv smaller than the screen in my cell phone! The rooms are big, but when the tiny tv is in one corner and the tiny couch... more

This motel was great, we had a 1 bedroom apartment with lake views and the apartment was very spacious and looked to be newly renovated. The lady at reception was awesome, very friendly. more

I stayed in this property for two weeks, initially I was only going to stay for 2 Days, but the location, straight across from Lake Taupo, was amazing. The rooms were pretty tired, but During the weekend it was sold and new Management came in. They had all the rooms re-painted, new furniture, new carpet, all in the first week.... more

I had one night here while touring round. Booked by phone a couple of days before. Location is on the main road around the lake so there's a great view.
