We stayed in an upstairs one bedroom apartment for one night. The accommodation was clean, modern and very comfortable. We had a good view of the lake from afar as well as Mt Ruapehu. The Chateau is easy to find and the accommodation is well worth the money. This is luxury accommodation at half price. New area , Nice place. -Very quiet compared to Taupo Close to Huka falls and other attractions , Craters of the Moon ,Prawn Park , Huka-Jet etc. Good place , enjoyed it here. more
