In June 2013, the hotel catered for our wedding of 20 guests. The accommodation, wedding function and food could not be faulted. Staff were welcoming, friendly and most helpful. The ambience of the hotel is a mixture an older tastefully renovated older building alongside a modern structure.

Service and amenities in line with what you would expect for a Hilton Hotel. Was very good. Only small negative for me was that the room did not have a "lounge" chair. Only a dining style chair which was not that comfortable in regards relaxing in front of the TV..

Found via Trip Advisor while looking to stay in Taupo for the weekend and managed to pick up a deal including Breakfast. Dinner at Lagos was superb. The room was lovely and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Next time we are in Tuapo we will be beck. Thanks for a great weekend.

The hotel appears to be part hotel, part holiday apartments. Our room (apartment style) was very nice (great bathroom with under floor heating), but there were several odd things about it. It is a little far from the lake BUT next to the spa De Bretts. The room is contempory and has the great HILTON amenties. They hve award wining restauant on site. The staff is really friendly and they gives a tour of the hotel and lead you to the room.

What a place to stay - the staff were exceptionally helpful and polite and the rooms were brilliant. We had a slight problem with our booking as we had booked through an external website but the staff sorted it immediately and even upgraded our room for free. Would definitely stay there again!
