“Best spot in town”

The Ibis Wellington is the best location for a mid-price hotel in Wellington. The food is good, the service is great and you can walk to any meetings easily. Or talk a walk round the waterfront. Even though it's right in the middle of things it's extremely quiet and like all Ibis Hotels, it's super clean and comfortable.

easy to find. very good on checking in even though very busy. rooms great and breakfast at resturant was good value for money. would stay again. went to warriors game so a big crowd of supporters at hotel to. would come back.

“Good quality and location”

The hotel is located very close to the main streets of Wellington especially the cuba street. Ideal stay for very good rate. Rooms are comfortable. Parking is a little expensive but still ok as compared to parking on the road

“Our stay at the Ibis Wellington Hotel”

We always receive good service from the Ibis and the breakfast is excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Wellington. The location is superb, being just a few minutes walk from the water or Lombard Quay.

“Basic city centre hotel; expensive extras”

This Ibis is centrally located in Wellington's shopping district. The rooms are small, as expected in this price range, but reasonably well-furnished except for Internet access which is a very expensive extra. Breakfast was also expensive so we didn't eat there. We are looking elsewhere for our Wellington base next time but this hotel is fine for its price if... More

“Very pleasant stay in Wellington”

Travelling with my son, we chose Ibis Wellington based on CBD location, & cost. Proved to be an excellent choice. Room was a comfortable size, beds were great, slept very well. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Staff were friendly & helpful. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Very good value for money (off-season rates).

“Centrally situated and clean.”

The room was very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The location was very handy and we were able to get around town on foot. It was an interesting experience to have the receptionist very talkative but friendly in a good way. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay here and would recommend this hotel to others.

Visited Wellington for business meeting in heart of city and to attend Anzac Day AFL game at the Stadium. Ibis was ideal location for this purpose. “Pleasant Stay, but not stellar”

clean and spacious rooms, good location, nice breakfast. the hotel has no room service, which is a drawback for business travelers. Also, the front desk help is uneven. All in all, though, a decent stay for the money.

“Good value for money”

You get what you expect from an IBIS hotel. This one is centrally located and right in the heart of the business district. Just like most Ibis hotels, this is good value for money. We did not eat at the hotel. There are cafes around for breakfast so check those ones out.
