The service I recieved in booking this place was great. But I do have to say that I'm not sure the experience on being there actually lived up to this! Positives - nice place and clean - as far as hostels go, this is a nice one and homely. - it is nice to be just in the water too.... more

Just like coming back to visit friends. Just what a backpackers lodge in NZ should be like. Beds were very good. Furniture and kitchen all nice and convenient. What a glorious place to stay! It is as stunning as the website looks. Yes, its a little out of town but that's the reason we stayed there! This place seemed exceptional value for money to us as it is in a beautiful area, just out of the city and best of all it is right on the seafront.
