We received first class assistance after a booking into a very disappointing hotel. InterContinental accommodated our needs perfectly. The wine for spouses birthday was a thoughtful and appreciated addition. Executive lounge has some limitations but food very good Bed truly comfortable - slept very well. Handy to everything that is going on in Wellington. Would return again more

We had a beautiful view of the Harbour. Perhaps most memorable, other than the spaciousness and the good furniture was the rubber ducky provided next to the tub. A very nice accomodation, with a helpful staff. more

We had a fantastic experience at the InterContinental. I would highly recommend as a 5 star hotel experience. Rooms were very large and comfortable. The lobby and facilities were very nice. But for me, it was the little touches that turned it from a nice stay to a memorable stay. For example, when I ordered a wake up call from... more

A very nice central city hotel that lives up to the intercontinental reputation. Very clean and tidy rooms with a good sized desk and work area, Very comfortable modern bathrooms. Some rooms with views of the harbour. Always very clean and well presented rooms with lovely sheets and pillows. There is an excellent fitness centre and pool. Card access needed... more

Regular visitor to this property. Approx 6 times per year. Most times for work however when I go to Wellington for leisure I still stay here. On some occasions due to it being booked out I have had to stay elsewhere, lets just say I always enjoy it when I know my booking for the Intercontinental is confirmed. Its very... more

In terms of location you can't do any better than the Intercontinental in Wellington. It is right by the waterfront in the central business district, close to all the main business and government buildings and almost on the harbour front. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast excellent. One nice touch was when I sat and did some work... more

It is a bit tired for a 5 star - the bathrooms in particular. It is not really 5 star by world standards - but this is Wellington so get over it . The staff are 5 star and so is the location , I stay here whenever I visit more

A lovely hotel with good service, excellent rooms and breakfasts. Near to attractions, e.g. botanic gardens - catch cable car there & walk back & Te Papa Museum - not the normal boring museum. more

After an amazing trip throughout the North Island, we decided to have a mini-splurge for our last 3 nights in Wellington and book into The Intercontinental. Whilst the reviews here were quite mixed, we have generally had good experiences with this hotel group and as we were staying in The Club Rooms - I was sure it would be well... more
