We spent five nights here while visiting our daughter who is studying in Wellington this term. Our suite was great: super comfortable king bed, separate sitting/kitchenette area, large modern bath. This hotel has a great location. Room very spacious. Had an apartment style room with full Kitchen and washer/dryer, which was very convenient. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was that WIFI did not reach into my room and needed to use in the lobby.

We were in a 1 bedroom suite, had a galley kitchen, with a large bathroom. Couldn't ask for a better room. The resturant had good food, but one night our waiter was great, made this dinner even better. Close to the train station, and Government Buildings. Easy to walk around. Stayed here as it's as close as you can get to many of the Government offices in Wellington. It market's itself as a 5* luxury hotel. Stayed in the Bolton Hotel on two separate occasions and found the staff very friendly and keep to help. The room was very spacious with a separate bedroom to the living area. It has a mini kitchen which is really good when you just want to warm up a take away meal. Love the gym and swimming pool.

I guess if your used to cities and small spaces then you will enjoy this hotel. From the welcoming greeting at reception through to the well equipped room my stay was great. The bed was comfortable, plugs in easy to get to locations, great size towels, Sunday paper, clean and modern bathroom... Well you get the picture, they know how to look after their guests. The only negative was the gym which could have been better... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over Easter, on Good Friday not many restaurants were opened in town so we the ate at the hotels restaurant, which we do not normally do, absolutely delicious!!!!!
