The house is a home, grand without ostentation, very easy to be in, cozy yet elegant and all in pristine condition. The spacious suites overlooking the beautiful pool provide quiet and privacy in excellent well-designed accommodation. They have thought of everything: fabulous bed, bedding, sumptuous bathroom with all the extras you would expect. The garden is gorgeous, providing a tranquil setting to showcase this lovely property.
Vic, (aka Victoria) is the perfect hostess, and a wonderful chef, and we enjoyed her company when we could persuade her to join us. She accommodated our food likes and dislikes, giving us both different food so that we could both have what we liked!The food was of an exceptionally high standard and the wine list provided plenty of choice.
Easy access to Wellington, the ferry, and the Kapiti coast/beaches makes this the perfect place to stay. more
