Great service and lovely room - The Angel Room - with four poster bed, real luxury. Would recommend dining in the restaurant - was one of the best meals I had on my whole trip around New Zealand. It was a real shame I wasn't stopping longer. If ever revisit Blenheim would certainly stop there again. more

Quiet, charming boutique hotel. Friendly staff who go out of their way to help but are not intrusive. Upscale dining experience for dinner. Good location within walking distance of other restaurants, shops and sights. more

We stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday at the end of March. After touring the south island and staying mostly in motels it was a lovely change. We had the Raja room which was very nicely decorated in Indian style, although the bathroom was smallish with shower only, no bathtub. We had a great time and found all... more

This hotel is centrally placed in an ideal location for exploring this small town in the heart of the Marlborough Wine Region. I was given the Raja room, which not surprisingly had an Indian theme to it. The room was very imaginatively styled and furnished and beautifully appointed. Sadly, there is no lift access to the rooms, but the hotel... more

This gem of a hotel is located in a renovated bank building in downtown Blenheim. Our reservation was arranged by business associates and we were pleasently surprised at how clean and comfortable this hotel was. Our room was upstairs through the old vault doors and so was very quiet! But all the rooms were fixed out with comfortable beds, modern... more

A beautiful hotel with just 10 rooms right in the centre of Blenheim, with parking at front and rear of hotel. We arrived at hotel and were shown to our room, which was gorgeous. We had a four poster bed, with a lovely bathroom with a powerful shower. There is a bar inside or take the opportunity to sit out... more

This hotel is governed by the quality of staff Our stay was good, the rooms fantastically different. Ask to see the rooms becuase they will probably put you in the colours room. Many more to offer. The resaurant has impressive food, great presentation. The duty manager totally put down the bar staff which was embarrrasing to watch. More staff training... more

One of several stops on our honeymoon, not the most memorable. Parking was very limited (3 spaces), which meant we were wary of going out in case no room when we returned. No lift to get luggage up to the room, but receptionist offered to help. Room itself was lovely; massive bed, very soft sheets, great view of distant hills... more

I would like to apoligise to all those who have not had a memorable experiance with us. We would like to also point out that since the last managers comments, the bar across the road has closed and we enjoy some great nights of reasonable peace and quiet for a hotel in the middle of town. We do apoligise for...

I have stayed several times over the pass few years so know a bit of their history! Its been a constant battle with the council over the years with regards to noise pollution unfortunately they have not been very co operative! So ask for the back rooms which are are great. The food has had it moments as every time... more

Loud music blares nightly from the bar across the street which keeps its doors and windows open to attract customers. The front desk staff is vacant and unhelpful and will pretend they're not aware of the problem until they have to move you. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel! more

Hotel d'Urville is situated in the CBD of Blenheim which is told to guests by staff or travel agents, there are a number of Bars around us. Yes we do have a bar accross the road who seldomly have live bands and play excessively during the night. We have a procedure in place that has been here since i have...
