I lived in this backpacker for one night in a double room in the first floor just off the street. Generally the condition is acceptable.

- close to Sumner beach
- places of off-street parking
- hot shower
- functional kitchen
- bar looks good and crowded but I didn't try
- clean wash room
- nice reception

Negative part:
- the color theme in the double is red, I hence felt stressed and hard to get into sleep that night; the bed in the room is a double deck bed thus it is prone to head knock to the upper deck when ppl sit in the lower deck.
- the shower room in the wash room is too large than necessary thus I felt cold when I did shower. There aren't enough clothe hanging hook also, resulting in a bit awkward cloth changing process.

Based on the second part, I give an average rating for this backpackers. more
