Very clean comfortable spacious well equipped modern room, well serviced each day.
Didn't notice traffic noise or lights from the street.
Walkable distance from loads of good cheap restaurants, Riccarton Mall and movie theatre. Close to Hagley park and Botanic Gardens. Great place to stay to avoid earthquake affected areas.

In view of Christchurch center being virtually inaccessible/fenced off and therefore a lack of restaurants/hotels/shopping we stayed in the Riccarton area from where we could walk to the center and other areas. We stayed at this motel last Dec 2010.
Mr Doug was very helpful in providing assistance - he helped us book air tickets,bus tickets.
He even stitched my luggage so nicely when I told him the handle was broken. What more can I say?

Rooms were comfy. We were travelling in a group. And the 2 bedroom suite offered plenty of space for the family. We also used a one bedroom suite, where a single bed in the living room made it more comfortable with the kids.
Location was very good, with plenty of eateries and a beautiful park nearby.
