This was the best place we stayed at in New Zealand. The staff was awesome. We weren't expecting it, but they even made the beds and cleaned the room each night we stayed. Well-equipped, and heated (!) rooms, clean, spacious with very accommodating and kind service. (I was offered use of hosts' garage to store and charge my electric mobility scooter). Walking distance to downtown, shops and bus lines was as short as advertised. We would definitely return, but we really didn't have a bad stay anywhere in the country! more

We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 8! Although alittle outdated, the apartments were huge. We had a bedroom, sitting room, full kitchen and enormous bathroom with seperate shower, unbelievable value for money. Everything was spotlessly clean (and I am very fussy!).
