We stayed one night at the motel. The room was clean with good kitchenette. We were referred to this motel as the one we were going to use was full. How lucky we were! Colin and Jude could not have been more accommodating. Luxury furnishings, immaculately clean rooms, much quieter location than city centre. New owner Colin, has raised the standards even higher. He also provides free shuttle service to airport or city centre (which is only 5 minutes walk) and delivered our luggage to the city centre bus depot. This is a good basic hotel. The bathroom was luxurious with its spa tub but the rest was basic. The hosts were accomodating. A group of 18 teachers stayed at the Tuscana Motor Lodge recently while we attended a conference in Christchurch. Nice accomodation close to City, Rooms tastefully decorated and clean. Our wireless internet connection wasn't "FREE" as stated on the main website, so it would pay to check that out when booking. more

Tuscana is near the centre of Christchurch, perhaps a 15 minute stroll from the main downtown area. While being clean & comfortable, it doesn't have much else going for it. more
