Why spend time in a hotel when you can spend it in a charming B&B. Eliza's Manor is better than 5 stars! The owners treat you as if you were the most important people on earth. The breakfast is incredible and served in a timely manner. The rooms are cozy and immaculate. Sitting in parlor or in their rose garden... more

We spent two nights in the Maid's Room and really enjoyed it. It was clean and comfortable, and the ANZAC biscuits were great. Ann & Harold were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, (the egg's benedict was my favorite)! It's easy to find and centrally located. more

We stayed at Eliza's on Bealey for only 2 days. It proved to be most welcoming and very comfortable. Their suggestions about places to visit, sights to see and restaurants were spot on. All in all our stay could not be faulted. Christchurch is a small and beautiful city but can be windy! Eliza's is a superb base and we... more

We stayed in the Pyne room for the last night of our New Zealand trip. Having travelled throughout the country for the previous weeks, I have to say that Eliza's Manor was a worthy place to conclude our trip. We got a warm welcome from Ann who showed us to our room. She upgraded us to a heritage room free... more

Very historic building that has been nicely converted into a wonderful b & b. Great location that is convenient to downtown and also easy to get to from the airport or highway. Comfortable room that was surprisingly quiet, in spite of it fronting the street. Serves a very delicious breakfast, included in the room charge! more

Eliza's is a great B&B - we stayed for 2 nights in December 09. The room we stayed in was big and very comfortable and Ann and Harold were wonderful hosts - Ann gave us some great tips on what to do in Christchurch. The breakfasts were the best we had in 3 weeks of traveling across NZ. Location wise,... more

We spent 3 nights at Eliza's at the end of our 3 week trip throughout NZ. A perfect way to end the trip. The hotel was comfortably within walking distance of downtown Christchurch, the museums, restaurants and Botanic Gardens. The room and public spaces were elegant and comfortable. Ann was informative and delightful. Breakfasts were made to order and exceptional. more
