We had a lovely stay at Orari House - it has a nice 'feel' for an old house. Our host was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. The house is nicely situated close to restaurants, art gallery, botanic gardens etc. We wish we'd stayed longer. more

The Orari B&B was a great "blind" choice (I did do some research but not tons). Orari is in a good location but there is some street noise. Being able to walk to the city center is a plus. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Some interior touch up paint is needed but in the rooms all was fine. This is a popular place so you may need to book early. more

We've stayed all over NZ in all types of accommodation and this was one of the pricier ones. It's best feature is location being near to the Arts Centre and Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens. The rooms are a bit tired and don't compare with some hotels at much less cost. OK but stayed in much better for less. more
