Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely hosts, extremely helpful, very quiet unit, lovely furnishings. Spa bath, sky TV and free Wifi. No complaints at all. Will be staying here again when next in Christchurch. I moved to this motel from one around the corner ( it was very sparse, had to pay for Wifi) , what a difference!

I would have rated it 5/5 or excellent but only issue is probably it needs a bit of renovation. The place is comfortable, easy to access. The hosts are really wonderful and went out of way to help us. Though old it was clean and tidy.

Really lovely hosts. While obviously earthquake damage has inconvenienced the business they are well open for accommodation. Pity parking is so tight for a motor lodge but full marks for resilience. Very convenient location near restaurants, bars etc.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Room cleaness was avarage. We had a late check-in time about 2 am and as the reception office shutted off they left the key for us and emailed us before we arrived which was very nice. They checked on us in the early morning.
