Quite simply tihs was the best of the eight hotels we stayed in New zealand. The room was well-appointed, very, very spacious and quite modern bathroom fittings and soaps and all that. We chose this hotel after reading many poor reviews of other motels close to Christchurch Airport. Delta Airport Motel is clean, comfortable, spacious, & has all that one requires, especially of an airport motel. The room rate was reduced by $9 being the taxi fare to Christchurch Airport, & the taxi at 5.00am arrived like clockwork. more

We have found some motels are rough around the edges, not v clean, and the owners not v friendly. The Airport Delta is none of those things. Clean spacious modern rooms that make you feel at home. All the mod cons you would expect and the beds and pillows are great! The young couple running the motel were really friendly... more

We had four family members visiting us from the Uk on their first visit to New Zealand. The staff at the airport delta could not have made our family more welcome. We booked this motel via Wotif.com as we were flying out of ChCh the next morning. Its about 2 mins from the airport, and as with most airport motels the location is nothing special. The motel is quite new and family run and the service is good. The rooms (ours was an upper studio) were a real surprise being spacious... more
