This is a most beautiful B&B. The service was fantastic and the rooms were stunning. This is the first B&B we have had the pleasure to stay in and it certainly sets a high benchmark! My wife and I stayed in March 2009 for 3 wonderful nights. The weather was glorious, the scenery breathtaking and both were matched by Belmont House. Belmont House was just beautiful. About 6 minutes walk from the Octagon (mostly uphill), you couldn't ask for a better location. Patsy was a wonderful host, as were Robin & Stuart, and all offered good advice about what to see & do in sunny Dunedin. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and heritage-y without being the least bit kitsch. Quite home-like.... more
