I stayed at the Lvingspace Hotel in Dunedin for a week while I visited my boyfriend. I stayed in a deluxe twin room as well as a queen room. The rooms are as everyone else has said, clean, modern, basic and in need of bedside lights. For the first two nights I was in the deluxe twin room which had... more

LivingSpace feels like it was built as a university residence building. The rooms are very small but very functional, including a tiny, but, again, very functional, glass-enclosed shower/toilet/sink ensuite. Rooms included a wall-mounted TV, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, desk and closet. The building is fitted out with the usual residence spaces: large communal lounges with comfy furniture and large TVs,... more

We stayed in a Queen Studio. Booked through wotif & got rates at half usual price including continental breakfast .Juice, milk, cereal, toast, spreads, yogurt, and container of fruit included. Comfortable firm bed. Room large enough for 2 adults. Very quiet on a Sunday night. Large LCD TV with lots of channels. Basic kitchen facilities including fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle,... more

I stayed at LivingSpace for 8 days in December '08. It's a nice place -- not fabulous, but comfortable for one person, and close to downtown (which was what I liked). It had a dorm-like feel, and some of the residents I ran into seemed to be students of the University of Otago (which is just a couple of blocks... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during a road trip to visit various relatives. First impressions were of three young male guests leaving huge spit globules in front of the entrance door on the streetway. Luckily things improved. We had a warm welcome and things were explained to us thoroughly. Our room on the third floor was... more

We stayed at Livingspace as a reunion of the old uni gang. We were looking for somewhere central, clean, good quality and with enough room to house us all (about 20-odd) as well as somewhere with some spaces for the whole group to relax and cook together in. Livingspace suited us perfectly. Lee and his team were fantastic at helping... more

Well placed for station, 10 minutes walk from Octagon restaurants/bars/shopping area. Compact but well equipped accommodation all that you need is provided but you do need to be "close" to your room mate as bed is fixed to window wall. Good value, free parking. No aircon which means traffic noise from open window might be uncomfortable in high summer. Would... more

Room is small, modern & trendy looking. The toilet size to me feels like an airplace toilet with an attached bath area. Despite the size, everything is fine & I had a very comfortable stay. It had all the basic amenities too.. like water broiler & fridge.. with the amt that you are paying for, I think this place is... more
