This motel is really a mixed bag. We rented one of the self contained units which turned out to be 1/2 of one of the free standing structures on the grounds of the motel. The motel is really well located near the penguin and albatross colonies at the end of the peninsula. The room we rented was very clean and the staff was friendly. There was a beach with access across the street from the hotel.

But, the kitchen had no stove and no hot water. The since was only 2cm deep which is impractical to do anything other than spill water on the floor. The water in the bathroom came out of the tap brown in color. The dishes provided with the room were dirty when we arrived, but to be honest, they looked clean on first glance and so I can understand how they were overlooked.

If you don’t mind all of the bad parts, it is a great location to visit the albatrosses and a clean place to stay. But, it is pricey and inconvenient otherwise. I wont plan to stay here again. more
