I recently stayed at the Commodore Motel, Dunedin while on an athletics tour with 15 teenage athletes. I was very impressed with the motel from the moment I first contacted them. The owners / managers were extremely friendly and very welcoming.

They were able to easily accommodate our group booking, which involved 4 - 5 person in each room (4 rooms total). The rooms were very reasonably priced and extremely spacious. Each room had it's own kitchen facilities and a good sized bathroom.

As we had an early check out, the owners/managers were happy to accommodate our breakfast request and delivered enough food to our rooms the night before.

The motel is close enough to drive into the city, but far enough out that you don't get all the city noise. There are also a number of smaller shopping / food areas closeby.

Parking was a little tricky with 2 mini vans, but lucky for us the carpark wasn't full overnight so there was enough room for us. If you... more
