Although I am not a fan of Lonely Planets recommendations at all, fearing lots of lots Americans, the McFarmers was the perfect choice. It is most beautifully located on the Otago peninsula with an astonishing look on the bay. The common room with the fire place and a very special couple hosting are incredibly nice and helpful. It is very close to the Penguins Place and the Royal Albatross Centre in the north of the island. more
