When we arrived at Porterfields B & B we were instantly made to feel very welcome with a pot of tea and cake. There are 2 rooms upstairs with Tea & Coffee making situated between the rooms. We had the double room which was very spacious and comfortable and had a great view. The King size bed was particularly comfortable. Neil served a lovely continental breakfast at the time of our choice and Susan entertained us with their travel experiences of eastern europe. It is an ideal position to tour the Otago peninsular. They were very helpful in assisting us with our decisions about excursions to the nearby places of interest, and made the bookings for us. We would highly recommend the Natures Wonder trip especially between dec - feb.
If you are in the vicinity of this accomodation don't pass it by, as it rates as one of the best B& B's we stayed in, in 28 days of touring the north and south island. more
