We stayed here 2 nights in February 2006 and were pleasantly surprised (especially after the disappointing hotel in Te Anau). The exterior isn't much to look at and parking facilities aren't fantastic, but the service was quite good and we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a suite with spa. This is a unique hotel. From the outside, it really doesn't look like much, but inside, the courtyard is beautiful. Great garden setting with lots of color.
