“A comfortable Dunedin option”

We turned up at the Scenic Hotel Southern Cross, thinking that's where we were staying, but discovered we'd been booked into this one, up the road a bit on the opposite side. We stayed overnight on our way back to Christchurch. Our room was large, warm and had one of the best beds we have ever slept on. “Enjoyable weekend”

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scenic Hotel, Dunedin. Very clean rooms, good heating and polite helpful staff. We were especially impressed that the day we left we were able to leave our bags and our car for while we went down the road. This was no trouble for the staff. Thanks John and Jackie

“Good and bad location”

Great location as 3 mins walk to the Octagon. Bad location as spill out from the Octagon during the early hours is hard to ignore. Double glazing to the road side is a facade. “Excellent hotel”

Our family of five stayed here for one night in connecting rooms. The rooms were modern, very clean and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was usual hotel fare but was of a very good standard. All the staff we came across were very professional and pleasant. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Satisfaction guaranteed”

Another visit to Dunedin and a stay at the Scenic Circles on Princes Street. Just can't go wrong, well appointed and enormous bedrooms. Bathrooms and showers are excellent and the front staff efficient. There is no need to eat here at all, but as a place to stay - perfect!
