We stayed here for only one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Jenny took over this B&B recently, and is a wonderful host. Excellent breakfast. Good advice on things to do & see. Cheerful person: nice to be with. Be prepared to park your car on a very steep hill, though. more

New owner Jenny was very friendly and provided us with an excellent place to stay. Access to the property is up two flights of stairs, but once up there we found it was well worth our effort. We spent 3 nights at the City Sanctuary and could not fault the place - hosts are incredibly helpful and the accommodation is first class. Clean, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was varied and scrumptious! Home made cookies a real treat. Resident cats, delightful! more

At first I was surprised by the location of the B & B. I'm used to walking but the streets were super steep and the city center of Dunedin was a little farther than we expected. We stayed 5 nights with Paul and Karen, two charming and most hospitable people with a real sense of fun - and 4 lovely cats!
