We stayed in a large unit, in an annex just separate from the main block with the reception. Large, roomy, and all very much in working order. Good sized bathroom. Very large room of good quality, in a very central location. Rooms are provided with basic kitchen facilities, including a microwave, kettle and toaster. Not the place to do proper cooking. Plenty of private car parking space, which is free. Dunedin is a really nice city, but we thoroughly recommend driving out to the Otago Peninsula to visit 'Penguin Place'. more

This is a motel that's just off the main Octagon in Dunedin. If you're coming from the train depot it's an uphill walk so find a taxi. But once there you'll probably figure out how to make an easier walk of it from the main hub, which is just down the slope. The motel is a bit difficult to locate,... more
