Chosen largely at random, this turned out to be a gem of a motel. Well situated within 10 minutes walk of the Southland Stadium, five minutes drive to Queens Park and restaurants in Windsor, and little more to Invercargill town centre itself.

Rooms were furnished to a very high standard with comfortable beds and seating, and ours had a double spa bath.

The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful and what was intended as a simple overnight turned into an enjoyable occasion. more
