Please note; Kaikoura and Milford Sound are approximately 1000 kms (600 miles) apart. It takes approx 12 hours (non stop) to drive from one to the other. Although I have never never stayed at Alpine-Pacific Holiday Park I am sure it is a nice place (please refer to other reviews) but the park is in Kaikoura NOT Milford Sound! more

We stayed in a studio unit for two nights recently and found both the unit and the holiday park to be excellent! We booked a motel unit for four people (two couples). We paid NZD$150 per night for the unit. It was spacious, looks newly decorated, with good attention to detail and is well-appointed.
