“Our worst stay in New Zealand”

The lodge was not particularly clean - the glass in our bathroom obviously hadn't been washed in some time. There was no hot water in our room for two mornings in a row. Laundry facilities were filthy and we ended up not wanting to do our laundry there. It was way too expensive for the services they did NOT provide.... more

The rooms were very clean, price was very reasonable, but the communal kitchen was ill equipped and very dirty. I didn't use it a second night. more

It was quite a walk from the centre to here but my! was the walk worthwhile. The room was clean and well equipped. Spectacular view thru the window. Friendly reception. Really enjoyed my stay here. Other guests were quiet so perfect for reading and resting. One will feel at home for longer stay. Will definitely come back if I stay... more
