We booked into the hotel over Waitangi weekend, the staff were very pleasant no problems there. The room No 326 was a good size but started off with no toilet paper, bedside lamp not working (these probs were fixed pretty smartly) but the room itself looked about 30yrs old and looked really DINGY & tired, the ceiling had marks on... Bought a secret hotel deal for three nights and got this hotel and was quite pleased. It's about a 10 minute walk into town but there's a free shuttle every hour on the hour, nice big room, pleasant staff, great value for money. Internet is overpriced but it is at all hotels in NZ! More

Quite a nice hotel and only a few minutes walk from town. They also run a shuttle service to and from town. The location is far more convenient than staying at Fernhill where I have stayed before. What I found particulary good was their flexibility. I had a non changeable and non refundable wotif deal. Unfortunately my flight was changed... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Overall the accommodation was very good. However, we did expect that a hotel of this caliber would offer free wifi and not charge for car parking. More

Stayed for 3 nights in january. The room rate was very good at $135 per night. Plus we got 2 drink vouchers each per night. It is a short walk into town, which meant we did not have to try and find a carpark in town. The room was a standard room, but their was a large stain on the... More

You won't go far wrong with this hotel but there isn't much that is memorable either. More

Good location but no views. About 8 minutes walk to town. Have stayed in much better in Queenstown but often stay here for business travels due to location. Easy parking and no steep drive when its snowing which is often the case with others. Tired inside but clean and comfortable. More

Many thanks for your review on Tripadvisor Brendan. I am just writing to let you know that we have a soft refurbishment of all 220 rooms planned for 2012, which will include beds and drapes. It is our hope that when this work is completed, it will give the rooms a lift, and make our guests' stays more comfortable. I... More

We, as a couple stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel while only 5 floors so without a lake view was very pleasant and the service was good when we asked for it. We were able to check in several hours before the designated time and with only a short downhill walk into the town we were out for the... More

Thank you for your review. I apologise that you had issues with the aircon and television, and had to transfer rooms as a result. I will be meeting with our Chief Engineer this week to determine the nature of the faults in your room. I am aware that the air conditioning system is being systematically looked at on a room... Having lived in Queenstown for several years I wanted to take my partner for a visit. Although the Millenium is central in location (a short walk up the hill from town) it was expensive. The staff were friendly but disorganised. We requested a rollaway bed for the first night if 3 and asked it be removed the next day only... More

Thank you for your review, which I have just read with a high degree of disappointment . I apologise that we were not better organised over the busy Christmas and New Year period. I am not going to make any excuses, but assure you that I will be addressing the points that you raised with my management team to ensure... More

We arrived from the airport via the Connectabus which stops across the road from the hotel. Impressive building from the outside and lobby was very nice. Check-in was a bit slow as I had a trainee but given not many people were around this was ok. We got a room facing the inner courtyard which was probably quieter than ones... More
