Stayed a week with Kevin & Glenys & didn't want to leave. We felt more like friends, than paying guests. Kevin & Glenys were interesting & interested making our stay so enjoyable. The historic house is spotless & well loved. Fascinating photos & news articles of the 1870's house adorn the walls that give you a real insight into the... More

We stayed with Glenys and Kevin for six nights, and wish it was six months. The spacious area we had ensured that the peace and quiet of the location continued in the house. As hosts, they are exceptional, breakfast beautiful, i have even bought a yoghurt maker as Glenys converted me to making my own. Buckley was so well behaved.... More

My wife, my mother, my father and I stayed with Glenys and Kevin, Buckley and the Cats for four nights in Feb 2103. The house is beautiful, the history is enthralling, and the area is truly beautiful, but it was Glenys and Kevin that really made the place for us. Glenys' attention to detail in the house was excellent, and... More

We had a lovely stay with Glenys and Kevin in Queenstown. The house is beautiful and the location is peaceful and remote. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and Buckley the dog was a great addition! It is a bit of a drive from the city centre, but we really enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown... More

My family of 4 adults (include my in-laws) and my daughter (9 years old) had a wonderful and warmest stay of 3 nights during the NY holidays. The history of the house dated back to 125 years old, with so much to learn from, it's so well kept and organized with Wifi. Glenys (the host) is a wonderful lady, very... More

Situated a short 10 min drive outside of the Queenstown city centre this gorgeous B&B has it all. Glenys and Kevin are just such wonderful hosts - considerate, generous in their sharing of knowledge of the area and exceptional in their level of care and attention to detail. To top everything off, the added presence of Buckley the dog and... More

We chose the ferry after reading numerous positive reviews. A perfect location and house for our family of 6 as we were lucky enough to have the whole house to ourselves. Glenys (the host) was amazing having the fire lit for us to come home to was a bonus as was fresh bread baked. The history of the house made... More

It would be difficulty to add much to all the other five-star reviews of The Ferry already here. My wife, daughter and I spent three nights at the Ferry in March and found it flawless. Glenys and Kevin are wonderful hosts, full of warmth and truly made of feel like family over our all too brief stay. The rooms are... More

By coincidence we ended up at "The Ferry bed & breakfast". What a warm welcome we had! We really enjoyed the hospitality and views. A great location. No crowds, only birds singing when I enjoyed my cup of coffee! Loved it!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We enjoyed the impromptu afternoon tea we shared with you Ian and Jule's. It was a very pleasant interlude. We hope you will call again before you leave Queenstown. More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ferry. The rooms were comfortable and everything was exquisitely clean. Our hosts' dog came to visit at our request and took us on a walk the next morning. Breakfast was great! We appreciated that this house was just outside the hustle of town and close to Arrowtown and wish we had had... More
