We stayed 4 nights at the Goldridge, which turned out to be a friendly hotel, with excellent views over the lake and mountains. The breakfast was good and the free transport into Queenstown an added bonus although the 1 hour walk along the lake to the town is attractive. In terms of value for money I doubt the Goldridge can... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great location and near enough to town. The room was lovely with an awesome view, very comfortable bed, obliging and friendly staff and well worth the rate of $165 per night. The breakfasts were delicious and we were sorry to leave. Will definitely visit again! More

Our first night in NZ was very enjoyable, and were able to rest after our 23-hour trip. Basic, clean, big, cheap room. Good location if you have a car, between airport and city (which is very close). Staff at the reception very friendly and attentive. More

This is a good, basic accommodation. The rooms are quite old and tired. They have good facilities. You will need a car if you are staying here because it is a little way out of Queenstown itself (5mins drive) but Queenstown is quite small so it is right on the outer edge of Queenstown. More

what a great view from the superior lakeside room .worth every penny of 10dollarupgrade.the rest of the hotel does not let the view down ,great service from friendly staff Jamie to the fore. Restaurant also very good with a varied menu at a fair price. Just cannot belief that ther are 31 better hotels in Queenstown. More

We spent a whole week there. Have no regrets. I should mention the great service. Location is also amazing. I would recommend this one without any doubts. More

We spent a couple of nights in Queenstown during a 3-week New Zealand trip. Goldridge Resort is in a good location, though outside of the main town. Room was adequate. There are lots of places to stay in the area. I can't say this one really stands out in any way, but it's certainly not a bad place to stay. More

My boyfriend and I stayed for 9 nights in August 2011 and were very happy with our room and the resort as a whole. We got a great bargain through Wotif for a free upgrade to a lakeview room (room 112). which had a great view accross the lake to the snow covered mountains. We were really impressed with the... My wife and I spent 14 days on the South Island and I have to say, Goldridge Resort was a standout! The staff there were the true definition of service with a smile. From Jaimie (AMAZINGLY helpful! Definitely worth her weight in gold!!) greeting us on arrival and being extremely helpful with any questions we had, to Allan in the... More

We stayed in Queenstown last January, it’s a very strange but fascinating touristic city where you can do each type of extreme sport or activity you want. Be careful: it is very windy! The Goldrige resort is very far from the city center so you need to have your own car, the hotel has a car parking so it’s not... More
