Stayed here a few years back now and my mom still talks about it. The owner was very friendly, helpful and hospitable, the location was great, the room was beautiful with a cute little mini-fridge and bright and modern. Comfy bed, great view out the window with a little balcony and a great sitting area downstairs and back patio. I... More

Everything was perfect, we have the room N:10 and its awesome. The only bad thing I can say is that there isn't thermostat in the room is centrally heated. But its a very special place, and the owners a great and lovely couple. Thanks for everything. Gloria & Alex

Thanks so much for your kind words. unfortunately you stayed just one day short of being able to use our new heater thermostats which arrived JUST after you left! We have been aware for a while they were needed but took time to arrive. All good now though. More

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to end our first trip to New Zealand! Although called a hotel, it is much more like a bed and breakfast- which by the way is delicious! Donald and Gillian are wonderful hosts: knowledgable, helpful and entertaining. We spent an afternoon with them on the patio sharing a couple of... More

We stayed three nights with Donald and Gillian at Browns. It is a very easy place to stay, good location, rooms very comfortable and clean, all works. We enjoyed having a drink by the fire before walking down to town for dinner. Gillian and Donald's recommendations on where to eat were spot on. Donald's breakfast were a great start to... More

Thanks for a lovely place to stay, your attention to detail and helpful (not over the top) knowledge of what to do and where to go.. and where not to. Lovely hosts in a top quality boutique setting, highly recommended!

Our friends had recommended Brown's to us from a previous stay and we were so grateful that they did. We loved our room, great views, spacious, and wonderful bathroom; all with a special European flair. Loved the French doors out onto the deck and the beautiful tiled patio out front. The breakfasts were delicious, different choices each day, and fun... More

We stayed at Browns in mid April 2013. Very good location near downtown Queenstown, lovely facility with large and very clean rooms. The man who owns it seemed a bit grumpy and to generally dislike what he was doing. I asked if it was possible to use their laundry machine and he quoted me $40NZ, an absurdly high price. He... More

Interesting response from what we thought were generally happy guests. We offer a laundry wash/dry/fold service and charge $40 a machine load which was explained to you. There are two laundromats nearby if guests do not wish to use our service. If there was an impression of unhappiness it was probably because of our other guest's complaints about members of... More

We stayed here for three nights over the New Year period. The hotel is very well located and a path from the house leads you to the town centre easily. There are a few parking spaces within the hotel grounds. Our room had fabulous views of the town and the lake. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The... More

In April, 2013 my wife and I stayed at Browns Boutique Hotel and were very pleased with our choice. Our hosts were always willing to provide information as to where we should visit while in Qweenstown. Location is so important - you can walk to town from Browns.

We spent 5 nights at Brows for our 20 year anniversary and our first trip to New Zealand. The B&B is convienently located just about 5 minutes from the center of Queenstown.
