I think most people choose the Garden Court as it's one of the more affordable apartment options in Queenstown and in that respect it works well. The apartments themselves are nice and well laid out. it's not top end in terms of fittings etc but it is modern and clean. The location is a short 10min stroll to the town... more

We had issues with the level of maintenance done to this place. Loose tiling on the steps was our first concern... quite dangerous in my opinion. See attached photos. This accomodation was in a terrific position looking over the lake with a short stroll down to the town. It is in a quiet street which keeps the noise down from the main drag and far enough from the town so that noisy passerbyers are uncommon. Arrived at 1.15pm only to be told by the rather rude receptionist that the room won't be ready until 3.45pm. Came back at 3.45pm and the room still wasn't ready until 4.15pm. We booked a 1 bed luxury apt with balcony for 3 people for 2 nights at $237 per night. The overall 1st impressions were good with good facilities but when we made up the sofa bed it still had the sheets on from previous occupants.
