Oaks Shores is an aesthetically pleasing hotel. Its reasonably new and its not too far out of central Queenstown. Stayed here with my partner for one night after spending 2 nights at The Rees. Very disappointed with the hotel. Waited 15 mins to be checked in. The room was really small and we could hear the guests in the room next door, quite clearly! Hotel finishings needs a bit of a revamp. Stay at The Rees rather! more

We stayed in a one bed deluxe and had a view to die for. It was breath taking. The only draw back was the 15-20 min walk into town, The walk though is beautiful as it is along the lake. Our room was massive with a romantic atmosphere. Would love to stay there again. more

Stayed here during November 2008 and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
