We stayed for 3 nights at Diane and Ian's place. The location was excellent, overlooking the lake and the place was quite beautiful. The room is small but cosy. Diane and Ian are excellent hosts and very good company. Ian was a good guide on what to see and the smart way to do it too! We enjoyed our trip... more

We came across Blue gum lodge through a fellow traveller's recommendation and we didn't regret our choice to stay there. It's a little out from the main township, though only a 15-20min walk around the lake. This was perfect for us. Avoiding hoards of backpackers, waking up to bird song and breakfast overlooking stunning lake views was our idea of... more

My husband and I always stay at B&B's or Boutique hotels when we travel. In order to pick the places we will stay we rely on the pictures and descriptions on the internet.
