We came to Te Anau on our honeymoon. Extremely friendly staff and the rooms are very very clean. They have kitchens in the rooms which is nice if you don't want to spend alot on food you can cook in room. The grocery store is just down the street and well priced. The position is the best - short walk to shopping area, overlooking he lake. A lovely balcony for enjoying a drink while watching the sun set on Fiordland.
