Just outside of Te Anau (a 5-10 minute drive) is the beautiful Whitestones B&B.
Set in the hills on a small holding it is idyllic. So Quiet with beautiful views. It is a real getaway.
The property has been recently renovated and is decorated really tastefully. There was so much room - we stayed in the room pictured on their website which had a large bedroom and living room.
The breakfast was fantastic (full english with muffins and treats too) - so much food.
The owners (Liz and Terry) are lovely and very accommodating.
I can't recommend this place highly enough. One of the best B&B's in NZ (and we have stayed in quite a few!).
