Our son attended Armidale University for four years, from 2003 to 2006 and we discovered Bishop's chapel and delighted in staying there every time we visited. In March we will be there to attend his graduation, and we will feel sad that it may be our last stay in this unique property.
This set of two bedroom apartments are cosy, well equipped and very reasonable. Waking up with the sun streaming through the stained glass windows is a real treat and it always felt like a home. We often had our son stay with us in the second bedroom, even had drinks there before his 21st party at a restaurant and there was plenty of room for the forty guests. Outside verandahs and tables are a plus and though the decor is a little dated, it suits the property's history and is always very clean.
To be able to book both properties for a family celebration was an added bonus and our friends from Sydney were instantly in love with the place. You do need a car as it is on the outskirts of town, but...
