If I rated this place purely as an hotel, it would be lucky to score one out of five but that would surely miss the whole point of staying here.
But anyway, let's first cover the the accommodation...
Rooms - Basic, but with your own bathroom, a 1960's TV in the corner, a bedside table with beer mats advertising a local trucking company, a door out onto the huge verandah that runs the length of the hotel and then round the corner and all along the side, and a 60 watt lightbulb in a tired old shade. If Clint Eastwood kicked the door open it would just seem normal.
Food - Basic. Breakfast is a hit and miss affair, you might get what you ordered.
Bar - Basic but fun ... what more do you want from a bar?.
Beer - Cold.
Staff - Strange but friendly.
